Feedback from the Lantern Floating etc?

We will have Mr. Kaz Kubo, one of the chief coordinators of the events (Lantern Floating for Peace, Shinnyo Celebration on the Equinox) at the NY temple on Sat Sept 28 to listen to any feedback from those who participated in the past weekend's events.
He is scheduled to be around all day, so please feel free to catch him and share your thoughts/suggestions/opinions to make our future event even better!

Thanks!

Thank you to all for your help!

To: leaders and practitioners in the Shinnyo Sangha in/and/around the NY temple

I just wanted to send a short “thank you” message to all of you who made this past weekend’s series of events memorable ones for those who could join us for them.
Without the support, cooperation, and leadership you’ve shown, I don’t think we could have done what we achieved together.
It is truly a blessing and an honor to have had the opportunity to welcome the “entire world”(!) in NY with you all, and to start marching forward in spreading friendship and harmony around us along side our spiritual leader Keishu Shinso!
As she now heads back to Japan, I look forward in our continued partnership and collaborations to truly do “our part” and support Her Holiness through our actions!

In ONE HEART,

Eitaro

Thank you message from the Gohoshi Team Leaders at Central Park

Dear Gohoshi Member,
We would like to express our deep and sincere appreciation to you for all your hard work at the Lantern Floating Ceremony. It was a wonderful day and evening and it would not have happened without your efforts and achievement. We accomplished a great number of things on Sunday starting with setting up the workshops area, greetings hundreds of visitors from Japan and Overseas, greeted and helped close to 1,000 visitors from the public and then amazingly assembled over 800 lanterns and gift bags for the guests of the actual ceremony in only 45 minutes! Throughout it all, you kept up a big smile, greeted people warmly and presented a wonderful “face” of Shinnyo-en New York. For that we are truly grateful and deeply thankful. In the future, if the US Government or the City of New York needs something to be done, they should call on us if they want a professional and quality job!
So, thank you again for your kindness and wonderful spirit of collaboration. It was an outstanding achievement.

Sincerely,

Sae Kim and Chris Forte
