Continued prayers for people in Boston
Hello Boston Sangha- we’re
continuing to extend prayers for the safety of all in the greater Boston area
with eveyrthing that has ensued over the night and into today.
Please continue to follow
instructions of city/government officials, and also stay in good communication
with one another.
Should you feel the need,
please contact us at the NY temple at (914) 421-1111, and the staff will be
happy to speak to you.
Needless to say, these are
trying times… Whenever possible, we would like to continue praying in “one
heart” with Her Holiness Keishu Shinso for everyone’s safety, by ways of
reciting the sandai in our hearts, chanting, etc.
We will continue to do the
same in NY.

Prayers for the victims and those affected by the bombings in Boston...
To
our Shinnyo family in the Boston Area:
We
are truly saddened by the incident; and at the same time, are sending prayers
each morning and night for the repose of the victims, as well as for the swift
recovery of all those affected by the bombing.
During
the monthly merit transfer service last night, we started with a moment of
silent prayer, then followed with the sutra chanting for various spirits,
including for the victims of the bombing.
As
difficult a time as this may be, we hope for all of us, as Shinnyo
practitioners, to have the strength to focus on what we can do in our given
place and condition the best way possible.
In
One Heart,
Eitaro Hayashi
