There will be a gathering to pray for peace at the monthly Feast of Compassion service on the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
Special chanting will be offered from the Nirvana Sutra by congregation members alongside the voice of Shinjo Ito, the Founder of Shinnyo-en.
Also featured will be a performance by our NY Shomyo (Buddhist Choir) group.
