Dear Gohoshi Member,
We would like to express
our deep and sincere appreciation to you for all your hard work at the Lantern
Floating Ceremony. It was a wonderful day and evening and it would not have
happened without your efforts and achievement. We accomplished a great number
of things on Sunday starting with setting up the workshops area, greetings
hundreds of visitors from Japan and Overseas, greeted and helped close to 1,000
visitors from the public and then amazingly assembled over 800 lanterns and
gift bags for the guests of the actual ceremony in only 45 minutes! Throughout
it all, you kept up a big smile, greeted people warmly and presented a
wonderful “face” of Shinnyo-en New York. For that we are truly grateful and
deeply thankful. In the future, if the US Government or the City of New York
needs something to be done, they should call on us if they want a professional
and quality job!
So, thank you again for
your kindness and wonderful spirit of collaboration. It was an outstanding
achievement.
